The disposable WINMOP BIO is specially designed to avoid the mop procedure, used within hospital rooms, named “color code”. Usually traditional mops have to follow a color code in order to highlight their use according to the area under cleaning. Normally there are 4 colors, but they can be even more. We have thought to avoid this procedure (that is not always correctly used) by designing a mop that, starting from the less dirty area to the more dirty one, ends its cleaning action after 3-4 sm, forcing operators to change it.

This allows to reach a higher functionality, avoiding the laundry phase for washing and sterilizing mops. Furthermore, it allows to fight cross-contamination because operators only use new, 100% clean, mops. At the same time, we avoid the waste of tons of water and the flow of cleansers/disinfectants into the drainage system that takes place when traditional mops are washed.

The disposable WINMOP BIO  is 100% biodegradable and it only requires the disinfectant needed during the cleaning operations. Consequently, the reduction of energy and water consumption is remarkable.

Winmop bio is available in its standard size (15x18cm) or it can be personalized according to the needs of the utilizer and it can be used both wet/humid or with spray cleaning.
